A relaxed day on the front lawn of The Apple Shack, celebrating Australian Cider - in particular our very own Darkes Cider!

Bring a picnic rug and chill out with friends and family while sipping a cider (or beer!) whilst listening to live music on the lawn, enjoy some lawn games, accompany the kids on a tractor ride and get their face painted all included in the ticket price! 


We will have our cider bar set up under our marquee serving all of our ciders of course! There will also be beer on tap for those more yeastily inclined.

Cold drink options include:

  • Little Blue (0% - Non-Alc)

  • Apple Juice
  • Water
For those in search of a hot brew, we have a coffee van in attendance who will tend to any and all of your caffeine needs.

Feeling peckish? We have a range of food truck options available to purchase on the day! 

Options include:

  • Nomad Kitchen (Smoked Meats) 
  • Hummus and Bean (Vegetarian and Vegan cuisine)
  • Klarie's Kitchen (Asian Food)


Entry to the day is by ticket. Due to COVID Safe Operation, numbers on the day will be limited. 

Adult ticket (18+ yrs), $16

Child’s ticket (2-17yrs), $12

The event is 10am till 3pm. Our gate will open at 10am. Our farm shop the Apple Shack will close at 4.30pm and main gate will close at 4.30pm.


Please use COVID Safe check in when you arrive using the NSW COVID Check in app. 

Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the day.

Tractor train rides will be running through the day (one ride included in each entry ticket). No time slots are available to book, the tractor train will be running on a continuous circuit. Please line up at the tractor train marshalling area at the earliest convenient time during the day. Our DARKES tractor train marshal will organise COVID-Safe groups to board the tractor train. Children must be supervised at all times.

Face painting will be available through the day for kids (included in ticket).

Plaster painting activities will be available until sold out at additional charge.

Food is at additional charge from food trucks.

Please bring a picnic rug/picnic chairs/pillows/blankets to sit on!

St John Ambulance (NSW) will be in attendance for any necessary first aid.

Photos will be taken on the day by our official Cider Day Photographer for our future promotional use. Please indicate to the photographer on the day if you do not wish to be photographed. The photographer will be clearly marked and in uniform.


As we are expecting a large number of people, to keep both you and your fur children safe - we will be allowing well behaved dogs on a leash only on this day. You must clean up after your own dog.

Please also keep in mind any other accessories your furry friends may need throughout the day e.g. dog bowl + water, snacks, etc.
